It comes in two main generations: Legacy EC360B/EC360BLC: Powered by a Cummins M11-C diesel engine with 198 kW (269 hp) gross power at 1,700 rpm, operating weight 36,800–38,400 kg, bucket capacity 1.35–3.0 m³. Latest EC360 CN4 (China Stage IV): Equipped with a Volvo D8M engine delivering 220 kW (295 hp) gross power at 1,600 rpm, operating weight 37,100–39,120 kg, standard 2.0 m³ bucket, and an advanced electro-hydraulic system for 10% better fuel efficiency.
