Komptech Easystar

The semi-mobile Easystar screening system, manufactured by Komptech GmbH in 2008, has been designed, developed, and constructed for industrial and commercial use in the screening of materials such as green waste, compost, wood, and other materials. It consists of 3 motors driving 46 shafts, each holding 30 polyurethane stars. The screening deck is designed to move material across the top surface at variable speeds with gravity allowing material to fall within the gaps. The system has the ability to screen 2 fraction sizes.  The 2017 hopper and conveyor is manufactured by CRS NI Ltd and is a high performance belt feeder engineered for durability, precision and efficiency in material handling. The belt feeder is designed for withdrawing material from the hopper and continuously feed the Easystar screener. It is built with a heavy-duty profile steel construction and a full impact bed for reliable performance in demanding environments. The feeder includes accessible maintenance points, a self-tensioning belt scraper, SKF bearings for longevity, and full guards and emergency stops.
