The Doppstadt AK 640 K is a high-speed mobile grinder built for rigorous industrial and recycling applications. It's engineered for maximum throughput and flexibility, ideal for handling diverse materials such as waste wood, green waste, RDF, pallets, compost, agricultural residues, and more. Power & Emissions Engine: MTU diesel engine with enhanced output—approx. 480 kW (652 hp), boosting performance by ~20 kW and 200 Nm over its predecessor. Fully compliant with EU Stage V (non-road vehicles), thanks to its stainless-steel exhaust system and thermally insulated aftertreatment. Design & Build Driving System: Robust chain-driven chassis provides excellent mobility. Optionally available with a high-clearance off-road undercarriage (+200 mm) Infeed Hopper: Wide 3,500 mm fill opening; loading height approx. 2,220 mm. Discharge Conveyor: A 7.5 m-long, 1.5 m-wide rear belt with a discharge height exceeding 5 m, and a standard lowering feature for quick access and maintenance. Performance & Maintenance Flail Drum & Material Feed: Free-swinging flails with a flywheel mass of ~2.5 t. Individually replaceable tips suitable for various materials. Separate drives for the scraper floor and oscillating infeed roller ensure consistent, high-throughput feeding.
