The Cat 304C CR is a 4-ton full compact radius mini excavator. CR stands for Compact Radius. Its upper swing structure never extends beyond the width of the tracks, enabling wall-close operation without any scratches. Positioned above the Cat 303 CR model, it delivers drastically upgraded earthmoving, breaking and lifting capacity, combining outstanding maneuverability in tight spaces with the heavy-duty performance of larger mini excavators. Ideal applications include urban municipal pipeline installation, residential community renovation, large-scale indoor demolition, road maintenance, large-area landscaping grading, foundation excavation, sewage trenching, stone breaking, farm land clearing and deep basement construction. It comes standard with an offset boom, float function dozer blade and factory-installed auxiliary hydraulic lines for hydraulic breakers. Powered by a Mitsubishi four-cylinder engine, it boasts high hydraulic flow and powerful digging forces, making it a heavy-duty workhorse widely used by rental companies, municipal contractors and landscaping firms. This classic model complies with China Stage III and EPA Tier 3 emission standards, and used units are in high demand for export to Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America. Two cab options are available: a basic canopy and a fully enclosed air-conditioned cab.
