KUHN rakes are designed to adapt perfectly to the harvesting process and ensure the quality and nutritional value of the forage is preserved. Single-rotor rakes are a simple and efficient solution for raking. The KUHN range includes both mounted and trailed models, with working widths ranging from 3.20 to 5.00 metres.
The MASTERDRIVE GIII transmission has been designed to cope with the increasing demands on the drive train, which are mainly due to: Increasing working widths and rotor diameters, and the handling of larger crops such as silage, hay, straw and hay.
The GA 4431 and GA 4731 models are mounted, single-rotor rakes. They work in working widths of 4.40 to 5.00 metres. With the MASTERDRIVE GIII transmission, they are just as reliable as their larger counterparts. Their tooth-holding arms make changing teeth very easy.
• Important parts have been reinforced to ensure that the rotors maintain their robust design despite their reduced weight:
• Aluminum housings.
• Optimized cam track to reduce roller load.
• Large diameter rollers to reduce rotational speed and reduce pressure on the cam track.
• Tine arms with large diameter bearings.
• Stronger articulated tine arm shaft.
• Reinforced main shaft.
• Stronger attachment of the tine arms to the tine holders (bolted).
